VegFund.org is a wonderful organization that provides, for free, funding with which to serve vegan food at events that normally wouldn't be vegan. The only catch is that you've got to hand out vegan literature with the food. We personally have used it to serve sandwiches, wraps, cookies and brownies at the Nevada Humane Society's annual walkathon with more than 2,000 people in attendance.
The following non-cash items would be extremely helpful. Used but good condition is fine. (For less pressing but still needed wishlist items, click here.)
* Chain-link panels — These would be used to build isolation pens. When new animals come to the sanctuary, they must be kept separate from the others for about 30 days to determine if it's safe from a disease standpoint to introduce them.
* Horse panels — These allow us to quickly put up temporary pens almost anywhere.
